    Do you know which modem you have? Verify that the Product Number (#) on the bottom of the modem is 64-993453-02R (NOTE: there is a R). If the code is 64-993453-02 (NOTE: no R) go to the USRxx3453B support page.

    This firmware fixes issues with the modem connecting at 2400 speeds to certain modems.
    Manual flash procedure for all operating systems:
    Download the 3453C_v2.3.31.zip file to a temporary location on your hard disk drive. Extract the .zip file to an empty directory on your hard drive. Follow the instructions in the firmware.txt file.

    Download the USR3453C_v2.3.31.exe file to a temporary location on your hard disk drive. Double-click the .exe file, and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Drivers

    Note per Windows XP and Server 2003 users: If you do not use V.92 functionality with the USRobotics Internet Call Notification application, you may use the operating system’s built-in driver.

    Installation for Windows 7 32 bit and Windows 7 64 bit

    The modem will install using the default driver provided by Windows 7.

    Note: The modem will initially install using the default driver provided by Windows Vista. Our enhanced driver is available by following the instructions below:
    1. Download the file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
    2. Double-click the file and follow the USRobotics Modem Installation Wizard to update modem driver.
